PlanET Biogas India and Delta Bio Gas partner to develop a 12 TPD Compressed Biogas (CBG) facility in Andhra Pradesh, supporting India’s SATAT initiative.
Hyderabad / GESCHER, March 5, 2026 – PlanET Biogas India Private Ltd., a subsidiary of Germany-based PlanET Biogas Group GmbH, has partnered with Delta Bio Gas Private Limited, Hyderabad, to develop a 12 tons-per-day (TPD) Compressed Biogas (CBG) facility in Palnadu District, Andhra Pradesh.
In India, its first plant in Western Uttar Pradesh is operating above designed capacity and selling gas consistently. PlanET has execution experience with Napier Grass, press mud, chicken litter, and cow dung under Indian conditions.
The upcoming Andhra Pradesh plant is engineered for continuous long term operation, designed primarily for paddy straw and Napier Grass, with built-in flexibility for additional feedstocks. Establishing its values of Biological Understanding, Structured Engineering, and Conservative modelling. Achieved capacity performance.
