In-Tank Biological Desulfurization
Our PlanET eco® cover (EcoNet) and Oxygen Generation technologies work together to deliver an effective and customizable solution for H₂S control in your digester.
The EcoNet system fosters growth of desulfurization bacteria, removing H2S from the biogas while the oxygen generators provide controlled microaeration to the anaerobic environment, facilitating growth of sulfur-oxidizing bacteria that convert hydrogen sulfide into elemental sulfur.
MicroNOX ON16
An iron-rich powder offers an effective way to reduce hydrogen sulfide levels in both digestate and biogas — similar to ferric chloride, but without the corrosive side effects or expensive equipment requirements.
It’s safer to handle, simple to apply, and requires no special storage or handling conditions, making H₂S control easier and more cost-effective for your digester.
Activated Carbon
This H2S solution uses activated carbon filter beds arranged in a lead-lag configuration to efficiently remove impurities from your biogas.
As biogas passes through the activated carbon, pollutants like hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, VOCs, and siloxanes are captured and eliminated. The result is cleaner biogas that flows smoothly into the upgrading process, ensuring high-quality methane production for premium RNG.
