PlanET is making a strong impact in the CHP market

With two further successfully implemented CHP projects, we are consistently expanding our position in the market. The projects impressively demonstrate that well-designed, integrated plant concepts are increasingly prevailing over individual standalone offers.

For two customers, combined heat and power units with an electrical output of 1.5 MW each were implemented. The key factor: the plants are specifically designed for flexible operation and therefore address central requirements of current market mechanisms. In the context of the biomass package, flexibility is increasingly becoming a key factor for economic success — and this is exactly where the implemented projects come in.

With around 2,800 planned operating hours per year, the plants show how demand-driven electricity production can be implemented efficiently and economically. The combination of technical design and intelligent integration into the overall system enables operators to optimally align their plants with future requirements.

Competitive advantage through system expertise

What is particularly noteworthy is that we were able to prevail in both projects against direct offers from CHP manufacturers. The reason lies in the clear added value for the customer: instead of isolated components, we offer holistic solutions in which the CHP unit is optimally integrated into the existing plant.

This system expertise not only ensures smooth technical implementation, but also creates long-term economic advantages during operation.

At the same time, we remain technologically independent. As an experienced plant engineering company, we always choose the solution that best fits the respective project — regardless of the manufacturer.

Take a strategic approach to flexibility now

Current developments surrounding the biomass package and upcoming tenders clearly show that flexibility is no longer a topic for the future, but already a decisive success factor today.

Plant operators who act now can secure clear economic advantages and strengthen their competitiveness in the long term.
