Climate change is one of the dominant issues of our time – and the greatest challenge facing mankind. Today we are at an important turning point.
Sustainability is therefore an important key element of corporate culture and strategy. It is deeply rooted in our thinking and actions and guides us in corporate management, in day-to-day business and in investment decisions. In addition, we help customers to reduce CO2 emissions and to operate more sustainably with our technology.
We are convinced that we can only stop climate change together – with cross-cutting cooperation. That is why we bring technologies, people and companies together in a future-oriented way. It is our drive to make an active contribution to climate protection with innovative technologies, then energy production using biogas is consistently climate-friendly and CO2-neutral – from the provision of raw materials to the recycling of fermentation products. This way, our biogas plants have so far saved more than 25 million metric tons of CO2.

Climate protection
We have a declared objective: All our activities should contribute to climate protection and CO2 reduction. This climate-friendly focus applies to our entire
product range, all services and our daily work. For example, we reduce paper consumption in the office every day and use resource-saving recycling products.
Respect
“Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself.” For us, this self-understanding of respect is a commitment to social sustainability. Fair working conditions, state-of-the-art workplaces, flat hierarchies, transparency and an open, constructive feedback culture are important to us in order to drive progress together and with appreciation.
Value addition
With our commitment, we create diverse added values: for customers, suppliers and employees. Only as a profitable company can we achieve our goals. It is particularly important to us to jointly and sustainably advance the renewable energy biogas – to protect the climate.
Economically and ecologically sustainable
The idea of a sustainable energy-efficient, environmentally friendly and economical building is part of our “Green Building” concept. With an investment volume of around 10 million euros, a new company headquarters was established in Gescher in 2021. The energy supply is based entirely on renewable energies: with biomethane, photovoltaics and geothermal energy.
