Sustainability

Working Together for a Sustainable Future

At PlanET, we believe climate change is one of the greatest challenges facing the world today.

Sustainability is therefore an important key element of corporate culture and strategy. It is deeply rooted in our thinking and actions. It guides us in corporate management, day-to-day business and investment decisions.

The technology we provide our clients also plays a significant role in promoting sustainability. Anaerobic Digestion breaks down organic materials and produces biogas and nutrient-rich digestate. This contributes to sustainability because it helps our clients:

We can only reduce climate change by working together and focusing on collaboration. That is why we bring technologies, people and companies together with a forward-focused approach.

Our corporate culture

Culture begins with each individual in our organization. Our corporate culture is defined by three important values: Climate Protection, Respect and Adding Value. As an integral part of our corporate culture, these objectives can also be found in the PlanET values stamp.

This is how we Live our Values:

Climate protection

We are committed to addressing the urgent global challenge of climate change. Through our technology we help our clients reduce CH4 & CO2 emissions.

Respect

Respect is a foundational value that guides our actions at PlanET. We listen carefully to our clients’ requirements, collaborate on tailored solutions, and maintain open communication throughout projects.

Value addition

What we do provides clients with solutions that generate economic benefits through efficient waste management, nutrient recovery and biogas utilization.

Green Building

Economically and ecologically sustainable

The idea of a sustainable energy-efficient, environmentally friendly and economical building was recently brought to life from our “Green Building” concept. With an investment of around 10 million euros, PlanET constructed a new Corporate Head Office Gescher, Germany in 2021. The office uses an energy supply based entirely on renewable energy including biomethane, photovoltaics and geothermal energy.
